2024 Faculty Negotiations

Oakland University values our faculty members and respects their contributions, which are critical to student success, research, community engagement  and diversity. Our faculty are represented by the Oakland University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors.

On Sept. 3, the university and OU-AAUP, which represents more than 800 faculty members, tentatively agreed to a new contract. A ratification vote will be held in the near future.
